Yongheyuan Restaurant , known as the “first building in Qinghuai”, was built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. In 2006, Yongheyuan Restaurant was identified as the first batch of China Time-honored Brands by the Ministry of Commerce.Yongheyuan Restaurant is elegantly constructed with the charm of JiangNan including so many beautiful things that one simply can't take them all in. 

More than 150 specialty snacks are especially famous for “Qinhuai eight signature dishes” ,in the 1st floor there is a la carte of exquisite Huaiyang dishes. The 2nd  floor’s banquet hall is elegant for its special dishes.In 1923, two famous literati Zhuziqing and Yupingbo visited the Qinhuai River，and after having the famous Qinhuai snacks”chicken soup dried beancurd”and”shell cake”each of them wrote a masterpiece named《Oar-splashing and Lantern-illuminating Qinhuai River》at the same time.
